Free School Meal Entitlement
If you are on benefits or a low income, your child may be eligible for free school meals.
Please be aware that if your child currently receives Universal Free School Meals (Reception to Year 2), but is also eligible for Free School Meals, it is important that you still claim them as we will also receive additional funding to support extra learning opportunities for them in the classroom too.

Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children eat lunch in the hall. All children enjoy time outdoors (unless the weather is particularly bad) in the main playground. Our Nursery and Reception children eat together before the older children then return to Early Years to enjoy some time outdoors.
We employ 4 lunchtime supervisory assistants to support children over the lunchtime period and our learning mentor also joins children on the playground to offer additional support.
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Free School Meals. From September 2023, the cost of a school meal for nursery children is £2.35 and for all other children it is £2.55 per day.
Please notify the school office two weeks prior if your child wishes to change from packed lunch to school dinners or vice versa. Thank you.
